My artworks strive to be non representational and non figurative, with a running theme of abstraction and distortion, drawing a heavy influence from Optical Art The works which range from drawing, painting, installation and experimental film aim to trick the viewers' perspective by using shifting dimensional planes, altered vanishing points, and conflicting shapes and lines.

 

I have a strong personal interest in rave culture, and the visuals used within the experience, in these abstract films, I have recreated visualisations that would not be out of place in a club setting,such as the famous Hacienda.

 

These abstract films are to be seen as a digital painting, bringing on an overall feeling of disorientation by the use of complicated visualisations which are often chaotic. I favour this aesthetic as it acts as an expression of my creative thought process and general characteristics.
