I will also be submitting prints of Manchester bands themselves using background images that are associated with the band. E.g. a Jackson Pollock inspired piece for the Stone Roses.

 

I am currently creating pieces relating to duality and different personalities that go across different mediums such as video, photo manipulation and photography. I’m attempting to give my own interpretation on why people do various things in life sometimes to conform so they fit in or go against the grain, whether that is deliberately just to be provocative or simply because they want to. Relating to this I’m also looking into the similarities between things that on first inspection may not necessarily have connections.I am currently studying Contemporary Art at Leeds Metropolitan University.

 

I had previously studied Graphic Design at City College Coventry where I developed a range of skills that I utilise today. During my time at college I helped design some hoardings for the NHS walk in centre on Stoney Stanton Rd Coventry that was being rebuilt in 2010.I have created various pieces such as a design for a compilation album for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. as well as novelty playing cards using various musicians.

 

I have also created various videos using music by one artist and a video by another. I have also created various designs for different types of clothing such as shoes, jeans and t-shirts.
